There are no other entries in the Abingdon Roll of Honour for  this surname.

The photograph opposite is taken from the "Overseas Men" photograph taken in Roysse Court in 1919, on 4th August when the town held its Homecoming Parade for the men returned from the war. The identification of this individual was made by a descendant.

Through this project, cross-referencing the notes from the Wiggins family research provided some insight into Frederick Charles Silvester and the role he played on the battlefield.
